Announcements 21st CCLC grant application Public Notice
Loudon County Schools will be applying for a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant, due May 3, 2013. This grant proposal is for Loudon Elementary, Steekee Elementary, Philadelphia Elementary, and Greenback School. Anyone wishing to make suggestions for this proposal may contact Kathy Proaps at 986-2036 ext. 4609 or proapsk@loudoncounty.org. ![]() Spelling Bee & Social Studies FairCongratulations to Kevin Navarette, Heston Moua, Kristeal Stein, Bailey Bridges and Brea Burton
LAUNCH Afterschool students have been busy. LAUNCH Afterschool at Steekee Elementary had 15 students participate in the Social Studies Fair and Bailey Bridges placed in the Social Studies Fair. Another Steekee LAUNCH Afterschool student, Brea Burton, placed 2nd in the school spelling bee. LAUNCH Afterschool at Loudon Elementary had 10 students participate in the Social Studies Fair and two were county winners, Heston Moua won in Maps and Kristeal Stein in the PowerPoint. Kristeal learned and polished her PowerPoint skills during LAUNCH. There were 6 LAUNCH students at Loudon who also participated in the school spelling bee. LAUNCH student Kevin Navarette won. We are proud of all who worked hard and entered these two events. Files |
